Hey, I'm Gabriel Palacios, a Startups Customer Engineer at Google Cloud

I am passionate about problem-solving, and this passion has shaped my life. At an early age, I won national and international mathematical olympiads and physics olympiads. Thanks to those competitions and other merits, in 2016, I moved to Singapore to study at the prestigious boarding school United World College South East Asia in Singapore. 

At UWC, I was introduced to Computer Science, and since then, I have loved to learn and use high-level programming languages to solve problems. Then in 2018, I moved to the United States to start my undergraduate studies. I majored in Computer Science and received a minor in Data Science. I graduated in May of 2022 with Magna Cum Laude Latin Honors.

After college, I started my Cloud Technical Residency at Google. At the CTR program, I am gaining expertise in data engineering, cloud architecture, networking, and security by enabling Google Cloud customers to design, develop, and maintain cloud-based systems and applications.
